Buca was delicious! We went on the May long weekend and I’m still telling people about how amazing the pizza and gelato was ! I would definitely go back here. The service was excellent as well. Lauren was our server. If you’re downtown and craving pizza, try to get a table at Buca and order the burrata truffle pizza ! Then finish it off with pistachio gelato. It is soooo good !

The atmosphere was very unique. Aged brick interior, exposed ceilings and pipes and very unique light fixtures. The staff was extremely pleasant, welcoming, and knowledgable about the menu. They cleaned out the table, plates, forks and knives after the appetizers and replaced them. A nice touch was the waiter who replaced our plates and utensils had a towel to not touch anything with her bare hands. The food was fantastic and it speaks for itself. Fresh pasta full of flavour. Extremely thin pizzas - great tasting fresh salads. I loved the food at Buca - would highly recommend this place and can't wait to go back!

Really enjoyed everything on the menu. Great service friendly staff cool environment . Alil hard to find at first but now I know where it is . There’s a nice vibe in the dining room for Freind’s to hang out and have a nice meal. There’s also a pretty cool private dining room that I’d like to try next time I get a chance to go there

Would have given 4.5 stars if possible. Ribeye steak was amazing. Cooked perfectly and the chimichurri made it a 5 star dish. The black cod tasted great, though I would have enjoyed it more if cooked for another minute...it was just shy of my preferred doneness. The sausage stuffed olives were really good, definitely a good appy. The salumi was good, but would recommend staying away from the pancetta, unless you like eating pure fat. The red sea bream crudo was really good... Though I wanted to try the scallop crudo that was listed on the online menu when I made reservations and it is still on the menu as I write this review. The restaurant itself was clean and is a good space. The service was attentive and unpretentious. Credit card machine tip percentages are still set to 15, 18 and 20 percent.

My girlfriend and I came here as part of the Winterlicious Food Festival that happens every year in Toronto and enjoyed their 3-course pre-fix menu. Service staff were friendly and attentive the whole night. Each dish was brought, then explained ingredient-by-ingredient, giving you that traditional fine-dining feeling. We also ordered a bottle of orange wine (my favourite kind, and not readily available at most restaurants) to accompany us through the meal. Every dish was simple and flavourful, but our favourite of the night had to be their tiramisu. First of all, this dessert was massive - can easily be shared between two people and I am not kidding when I say this was hands-down the best tiramisu we have ever tried. It was creamy, decadent, and the crispy wafer on top adds an element of texture that we both thought was delightful. I am sad to hear of this closing of this location as I thought it was their best one. We are happy to have had the pleasure of dining here when it was around - it will be remembered fondly!

Had such an amazing time eating here. Highly recommend the Pizza with Burrata. The crust is so light & airy. Our waiter explained that they do something with the dough so it doesn’t make you feel too full because it doesn’t expand in your stomach. I love it!! The service at this location is also really great. They recommended the perfect amount of food for us.

The food was phenomenal - so flavourful and cooked to perfection with excellent portion sizes. The wine was beautiful and deep, we ordered a nice Barbera. But the service was 10/10 - extremely attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. This is the real deal in quality authentic Italian dining in Toronto.
